Opening of the GDF SUEZ / MAEE Programme selection campaign

The French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (Ministère des Affaires étrangères et européennes [MAEE]) and GDF SUEZ have decided to create a programme to host and support high-level foreign students in France. They are pleased to launch this programme for the 2012-2013 academic year.

The co-financed GDF SUEZ / MAEE scholarship programme for the 2012-2013 academic year is aimed at students from Brazil, Chile, India and Lebanon who are currently studying in their country. Only applicants who are citizens of one of these four countries are eligible for this programme.

For the 2012-2013 academic year, four to six scholarships will be awarded. The application deadline is 11 May 2012, and the results will be announced no later than 20 June 2012.

The GDF SUEZ / MAEE co-financed academic scholarships are awarded for one year of studies in France at the Master 2 level, for one of these two training programmes at the Ecole Polytechnique:

- Master Renewable Energy (Brazilian, Chilean, Lebanese students)

- Master Water, Air, Pollution Energy at local regional scales (Indian and Lebanese students)

This year of studies in France will end with an internship at one of GDF SUEZ’s sites.

GDF SUEZ will give those selected for this programme, among other things, a scholarship of €13,000, tutoring during their year in France, and a possible career opportunity.
